WE DON’T JUST SHOOT CONCERTS

We chase moments – loud, messy, unfiltered – and frame them before they’re gone.

ABOUT ROCKAHOLIC

ROCKAHOLIC is an independent concert photography outlet created by Sophie Zander, a music photographer based in Stockholm, Sweden. Built for people obsessed with live music, it’s dedicated to capturing the chaos, energy and emotion that only live shows can deliver.

From smoke-filled clubs to massive festivals, ROCKAHOLIC captures raw, unfiltered moments that hit hard and vanish fast, the real side of concert photography.

Our mission is simple: We’re here for the sound you feel in your ribs. The flash before the encore. That one second where it all explodes.

If live music feels like your therapy, your religion or your addiction, you’re probably a ROCKAHOLIC too.

ABOUT THE MIND BEHIND ROCKAHOLIC

I’m Sophie Zander, the photographer and mind behind ROCKAHOLIC.

Since 2009, I’ve been shooting high-energy environments, especially extreme sports (preferably surfing) and, of course, concerts. If it’s loud, fast, or gone in a blink, that’s where I want to be.

In 2016, I landed in the Top 275 overall and Top 25 in the Lifestyle category in Red Bull Illume, one of the world’s biggest photography competitions.

Over the years, I’ve covered everything from tiny club gigs to big stages. Sometimes with a photo pass in the pit. Other times, I’ve shot from the crowd where cameras were allowed. However I could, I chased the moment, always driven more by the music than the access.
One standout moment? Being asked to fill in last minute for Rise Against in Stockholm. That kind of opportunity reminds me exactly why I do this.

Until now, I shared my work on my personal website and @nopalmtrees on Instagram. ROCKAHOLIC is the next chapter where the noise, the chaos and the obsession all come together.
