Before this show, my only real connection to Don Broco was one song, T-Shirt Song, which I’d been listening to for years. Other than that, I hadn’t dug into their catalog much, and I’d never seen them live. This might have been their first proper headline show in Sweden (or at least their second time playing here).
One of the best things about going to gigs is discovering new favorites in real time. This was one of those nights. Don Broco’s live energy completely took me by surprise, not just with T-Shirt Song, but with so many other tracks I hadn’t given a chance before.
Safe to say, I’m hooked now. I’ll 100% be there the next time they hit Sweden.
